I am currently a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Castillo Lab in the Environment, Ecology, and Energy Program (E3P) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am also a Graduate Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation (GRFP). I received my BA in Biology and Studio Art from Carleton College in 2020.
I am interested in marine ecophysiology, microbial ecology, and conservation in the context of climate change. My research focuses on understanding how organisms are able to mediate stress responses through physiological and molecular mechanisms.
